Concept Piece for MGP (Madd Gear Pro)
Madd Gear Pro are a brand that create professional Scooters rivalling skateboards and BMX's. The endorsements through the professional scooter team is a great selling point to reach youth markets who exhibit their tricks and skills at worldwide skate and extreme sports events. The product is sturdy and tough, used for creating breathtaking stunts, so the key to this unit was to display a sense of movement and dynamic appeal. Looks wise it had to feel urban using raw steel, mimicking the railings that the potential buyer would be using to try out tricks on. Madd Gear Pro have such strong branding so at the heart of the unit is their logo ensuring consumers know they are purchasing a quality item.
We've had very positive feedback from the client that fitted the brief and great feedback from end users. We are currently continuing this project as an ongoing value engineering exercise for a potential roll out further into Europe.
